JAPANESE HERITAGE
The canvas for this project was a home heavily influenced by Japanese architecture and brutalism. It’s a bold and raw style featuring angular geometry and rough materials, particularly the extensive use of exposed concrete.
FUNCTION & FORM
The ROBO was the perfect choice for this project. It’s a Japanese made product, with an eclectic design that doesn’t really look like a massage chair. Positioned in front of the cascading greenery, ROBO brings much needed balance to the harsh and dominating landscape.
A PERSONAL SPACE
With the high ceilings and plenty of natural light, ROBO was able to shine as a statement piece. The two-toned black and white colours and eggshell design add some warmth the space without detracting from the boldness and architectural purity.
